Cavs vs. Celtics Game 2: Recap from the Eastern Conference semifinals

CLEVELAND, Ohio —The Cavs’ scoring struggles during the first-round NBA Playoff series with the Orlando Magic seemed to be totally behind them in the first quarter of Game 1 against the Boston Celtics, but the Celtics still won by 25 in the end.

The Cavaliers are ready for another shot at taking away Boston’s home court advantage and tipoff between the Eastern Conference rivals is set for Thursday at 7 p.m. Eastern on TNT.

The Cavs had six players in double figures including Mitchell, LeVert, and Mobley who combined for 71 Cavs points.

Tatum led the Celtics with 25 while four others finished in double figures. The Cavs won the rebound battle 44-31.

 Jayson Tatum is called for a flagrant foul on Caris LeVert. LeVert converts the three-point play. Boston pulls its starters.

Mobley makes a hook shot from the left block and LeVert gets to the basket for a 3-point play opportunity after a Cavs defensive stop. The play is being reviewed for a flagrant foul.
